Digital Drawing

This page is a demonstration of my digital drawings made using Procreate and Adobe Illustrator. I started digital drawings through lockdown and took the time to develop and improve in every area that I could. This was quite different to what I was used to with hand drawn art however it is now one of my favourite ways to draw and especially throughout university, I have been drawing digitally with every project.

The use of dramatic lighting and colour in this drawing makes this different to my other portraits. As there is not a great deal of detail in the facial features, the lighting and use of contrast become the main focus in this.

This is one of my first digital portraits that I ever did, and although there are things I would go back and change now, I still really like this piece and it began my love for digital art.

This was created using Adobe Illustrator and is a different style to what I am used to, however I love the different colours and the more colour block style!

Venom! I loved doing character drawings so I had a lot of fun with this one.

This drawing allowed me to try drawing a different hair texture and style that I hadn't tried before.

This is my recreation of one of the zodiac pieces by the artist 'Tati Moons.' I really like their work and so wanted to recreate one of my favourites.

This was an interesting project to work on. It was a challenge to see whether I could maintain depth and tone digitally without the use of colour. However, I really like this artwork and always love trying new styles and tequniques.

Another addition to my portraiture drawing collection!

This portrait allowed me to focus on facial features when they were slightly closer to the camera, for example with the eyes and lips.
